What started life as a WhatsApp voice note from Rob Warner snowballed into a flight to New York City, a street ride with local MTB-er and rapper Big Priv, and the recording of this year’s next big—and only–bike track ‘Rap for a Wrap’. Not to mention a full music video production that we hope is just the start of Rob’s illustrious MC career.
Once we got wind that Rob had let slip his plans on The Ride Companion podcast back in November, we knew that there was no backing out of this one… We’ve been working with Rob for a few years now and know it’s best to let him take the front seat and we’ll happily jump on the back of the tandem and just enjoy the ride.
“I hung out with Big Priv at Rampage a lot, and he’s cool. He lives in the Bronx in New York. I’m hoping to fly to New York to do a film called Rap for Wrap!”
We’re seeing it as a massive compliment to see our name up in lights and we hope you enjoy the track. At this time we are unsure if it will be released on streaming services, but our fingers are firmly crossed.
Soundtrack to 2026? We think so.
